A Colourful Celebration

Today one of the visitor-counters turned five-figure, which is kind of a big deal for us with a more unspectacular number of visitors each day. Although very much appreciated ones! Especially those who take their time to write a comment here and there *more of that please*, so very much appreciated!

I'm not sure if the counter is very accurate though, since I *far from a technofreak* couldn't resist adding more wimpish counter-widgets later on, and noticing there are major discrepancies between them all. Be as it may, today is the day five-figure shows and today is the day I celebrated big time enjoying nature's abundance in colors, textures, flavours, weather, creatures great and small.

A long walk, a lovely lunch, loads of sun and winds, not to mention all that colour richness that I managed to capture a glimpse of here and there with the camera. I won't mention exactly where I went though, all in due time...

But it's such an amazing place, sort of semi-hidden lovely spot, a touch of Garden of Eden in the outskirts of the city. Must remember to get myself there more often, for relaxation, revitalization, brooding inspiration and very much a feeling of the here and now! And while summer, also quite a decent selection of food, coffee and cakes.

Nothing says summer quite as much as fresh from the garden vegetables, turned into beetroot and spinach salad for example. Delicious! And even if it's very obvious there are plenty of guests enjoying to spend some time in this little part of Eden - some paying, others non-paying who simply rely on their cuteness to get what they want. And get they did... - it's easy to find your own little spot for musings, with or without company.

Thank you nature, thank you world, for showing yourself from your most colourful, plenteous, wonderful, inspiring, delectable side today! A five-figure celebration, at least!!

You make it all look so easy, Pia. A couple of bumble bees patiently sitting there all day long in case anyone would pass by? I wouldn’t think so. It’s a lot of hard work and on those occasions when all the pieces fall into their places it looks deceivingly simple.

Adore the picture of the wild flowers. So pretty. :)

Thanks, Per, I guess it was just a bumblebee kind of day, plenty around just waiting to be eternalized:)

Thanks so much, Wendy!
